Christy is a singer, songwriter and worship leader. She has a Certificate in Worship Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and leads worship in jails, prisons, conferences, church services, revivals and more. Christy began writing music in 2016 using the Word of God. Her desire is to point others to the Gospel of Jesus and exalt Him in song. Many of her own songs have come from personal experiences and lessons the Lord has taught her and she is eager to share how Jesus has walked with her through every trial and circumstance and how He will do the same for others. If you are looking for someone to testify, speak and share about the love of Christ or need a worship leader for your service or event Christy would be honored to share what the Lord has given her with you and your congregation or group.  Christy and her husband, James attend The Church of Living Water between Warsaw and Lincoln, MO. They served together in prison ministry from 2015 to 2020 and have shared the Gospel with 1,000s of men and women. She has donated a copy of her album “Sing for the King” and single “Freedom” to every institution in Missouri to encourage offenders and point them to Jesus and the Bible.  Christy and James have been married since June 1993 and have two grown sons, Cameron (wife, Danii) and Christian (wife, Sydney) and granddaughters, Faye and Martha. These days you can find Christy leading worship on most Saturday nights at a cross-denominational service called “Cross Connect” at Olive Branch Baptist Church near Sedalia, MO, first Thursday nights at The Church of Living Water Celebrate Recovery, and at various other events and services.
