I hope you read that as snarky as I said it in my head. Well…what ABOUT me…
This beautiful Christian life is not about me at all so when people want you to give them a bio or send them something about yourself it can all be…eh, meh or ? I get it, you’ve been asked to speak or share or do something at an event and those putting it on want to share something about you. But in the writing of it, it can all seem a bit braggy or boastful and that is the opposite of how we’re called to live and be. So, upon looking about my “about me” page that hasn’t changed much at all in the last several years, I changed it up. I just want you to know how much I love Jesus and because of how much He loves me, I get to give Him away. As a former drug lord once said after giving his life to Christ and being asked to share his testimony everywhere – “just put ‘a man God really loves’”. And couldn’t we all put that down for our bio? A woman God really loves. A man God really loves. That’s enough. Thank You, Jesus.

Hi! I’m Christy and I love Jesus. He is my reason for living. He died so I could live – no longer for myself but for Him – to make Him known to a lost and dying world that desperately needs to know Him.
Because of Jesus’ sanctifying work in my life – I sing, I write songs, I testify how He has changed my life and how He continues to.
Because of Jesus – I get to declare His great love through speaking and sharing the infallible Word of God.
Because of what Christ did on the cross for me, and for you, I get to be His representative – a light shining in the darkness.
What a gift.
I am the daughter of the King and He has called me to give Him away through worship leading, speaking, testifying, song writing and more.
God has been so kind to me and given me so many wonderful opportunities to share who He is in so many places and ways. Over the past decade I have been blessed to minister to the incarcerated, the homeless, to those in addiction and recovery, beside hospital beds, through plexiglass windows and sitting across precious faces in coffee shops and in my living room. Although I’ve had the honor of being a part of conferences, retreats, revivals and other events – some of the sweetest ministry times have been in the unexpected places of one-on-one interactions with people God has placed before me. Whether it’s a friend, a stranger or my sweet little granddaughter, they all have one thing in common…they all need Jesus and I want to give Him to them.
I obtained a Certificate in Worship Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary so I could learn and grow.
I released two albums and a single to point others to Jesus and lift up His Name.
I continue to write songs and share His love and grace because I want you to know how marvelous and amazing He is.
I just want to live a sold out, surrendered life to Jesus, my Lord.
